Occasionally, we find ourselves caught up in the daily grind called life, too focused on everything but our own interests. By the time we get the opportunity to relax and take in the day for all it's worth, our bodies are too worn from the day's work to appreciate it fully. If you're anything like me, and the team I surround myself with, you strive for something greater than your current reality displays. Life has a tendency to take a grip on us and only few find the key to release.

What is it about those few that separates them from the crowd? Are they a special breed of human or is there an underlying element that conjures the willpower within to withstand the crushing power of the daily grind? Answers to these questions render hard to answer, as they can vary widely. Maybe there is an explanation or maybe we ask the wrong questions in the first place...

A wise man once said our imaginations plant the seeds to our reality, for everything we do was once a thought before being conceived physically. Although this concept may draw skepticism, it is hard to argue there not being some truth to the statement. Maybe this is the key. Maybe the difference between those few people and ourselves is they don't lose track of the limitless imagination that was once present in all of us as children.

While in college, I remember sitting in the living room of my rental as an old friend who recently graduated visited. He was working a new job, in a new city, 8 to 5, five days a week. Most of society views this as success, and in many cases it is, but he wasn't happy. He felt lost. Why is it so many people get to this point in life and feel unaccomplished? What should be an ideal situation is now a burden. Maybe the root to this question goes back to the age of 18. The moment when a majority of us put aside the ambitions we had at 16 to be "realistic" and choose a safe career path.

Take a moment to imagine your ideal career, some of us are unable. We've forgotten long ago how it feels to have ambitions and goals. The overwhelming rush you get when you follow a dream and begin to experience the first glimpse of success. The feeling accompanied with landing your band's first gig, catching the big wave, getting paid to travel, seeing your brand on someones shirt, witnessing your app go live; what is your dream?

Here at Wede Clothing Co, we believe in maintaining the ambitions of your 16 year old self. Take risks, be witty, and don't look back. The world has enough cultivated people, plant the seed to your future in your mind today. Find the key to release life's draining grip. Be you. Be Undomesticated.

Until next time, take care.
